Cooking Up a Fine Education

Ruben Becerra knows about hard work. His shift as cook at the Mission Hills tennis center starts at six in the morning, then he spends his evenings as a cook at Nicholino's in Cathedral City. In between, Ruben is enrolled in College of the Desert taking culinary classes. He's doing most of his studies on week-ends and on-line. That's a recipe for success.
